One of our favorite young Latinas, Cassandra Childers will play the lead in the MHS production of "The Man Who Came to Dinner". Please come and support the Monrovia High School Drama department and enjoy an affordable night out. Admission is only $5. Playing November 20-22nd at 7:30 at the MHS Auditorium, located at 845 West Colorado Boulevard, Monrovia, California 91016.
Here is some information about the play from the MHS newspaper, The Wildcat:
"Monrovia High School's Drama Department will present a revival of the 1930's hit comedy, "The Man Who Came to Dinner", opening on Thursday, November 20 through Saturday, November 22 at 7:30pm. "The Man Who Came to Dinner" is about a famous radio wit named Sheridan Whiteside, played by Cassandra Childers, senior, who takes a nasty spill outside of the factory owner's house and takes up residence there while recovering from his "injury." Sheridan insults almost everyone in the household and falls into a lie, attempting to break up the love between his secretary and a young newspaper editor named Bert to accomplish another one of his typical schemes."
